Do my photos leave my iPhone?

No. OpusCam is on-device by design — Magic Cleanup, the duplicate finder and every scan run locally on your phone using Apple's frameworks. Your photo library is never uploaded to a server, which is also why it works with no account and without an internet connection.

What does Magic Cleanup do?

It goes through your library and identifies the clutter — accidental shots, blurred frames, screenshots you saved once and never needed again, near-identical bursts — while deliberately protecting the photos that look like memories. You review everything before anything is deleted.

How much storage will I actually get back?

That depends on your library, but the usual wins are large videos and duplicate bursts, which is where most of the gigabytes hide. OpusCam shows you the reclaimable total before you delete anything, so you can see the number first.

Can it delete something I wanted to keep?

Nothing is deleted without your confirmation. OpusCam proposes candidates and you approve them, and deletions go to the Recently Deleted album in Photos, where iOS keeps them for 30 days.
